Endangered Species Project
"Show your support for saving threatened animals and plants by signing or creating an online petition in the Endangered Species section of Care2 Petitions. Speak out to prevent habitat destruction. Advocate for improved legal protections for biodiversity. Petition governments around the world to make protecting the environment a priority. It only takes minutes to help endangered species by signing or creating a Care2 Petition."
For this project, you will choose a petition from Care2 and you have to create a video in which you introduce the species you decided to support.
You have to present information about that species:
* Characteristics (Size, diet, etc)
* Range (Where can it be found?)
* Population * Interesting facts
* Threats (What endangers this species?)
You also have to present what the petition is about, sign it, and take pictures of each one of the team members with their petition.
But that's not it, talk to some people about this petition so they sign too and take a picture of 3 of them.
Use your creativity and make an amazing video using pictures, videos, effects, and music.
The video has to be 4-5 minutes long and you MUST put the name of the members and the sources at the end.
You need to bring the information of the video printed on March 2nd.
The video must be submitted on Algebraix on March 12th. Upload it with time so you don't have any trouble.

Book Report
Besides reading a book during vacations for making your project, you will have the opportunity of doing a Book Report for 5 extra decimals in the 3rd Bimester Exam.
The Book Report needs to contain 6 paragraphs, no more no less. To know what information you can add to your report, you can use the template (format) given.
Answer the questions on the template and then write that information as a paragraph for your report.
YOU SHOULD NOT HAND IN THAT FORMAT, that is a guide to help you organize your report. (If you hand in the pages of the template answered, it won't count)
Some important things you need to know:
* Don't start your report with "I will talk about..."
* Divide the paragraphs with a space.
* Don't use subtitles.
* It needs to have a front page with your complete data (the format is at the end of this section).
* It needs to be written with Arial 11, 1,5 line space, and justified.
* Everything has to be written with your own words.
* The date for handing in the Book Report is January 8th, 2018
